Privacy policy
We care about your privacy. This policy describes how Evolvent Experience AB processes personal data on this website. The site collects personal data in only one place: when you send an order enquiry for a paddle. The Swedish version of this policy takes precedence.
Data controller
Evolvent Experience AB · org.nr 559240-9857, Forstheimsvägen 11, 372 95 Johannishus. If you have questions about how we process your personal data, or want to exercise any of the rights below, email us at fredrik@hedlund.se.
What we collect and why
When you send an order enquiry through the order form we collect what you fill in: name and email (required), phone number and message (optional), and the paddle model, size and quantity you choose.
We use this data to receive, answer and handle your enquiry and any resulting order. The legal basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We therefore do not ask for consent — the processing is needed in order to reply to you.
When you simply browse the website we collect no personal data about you.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no cookies and no tracking or web-analytics tools. That is why there is no cookie banner — none is required. Fonts are served from our own server, not from any third party.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data and never share it for marketing. To run the website and receive your enquiry we use the following providers, which process data on our behalf (data processors):
- Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) — our email provider, which delivers the order email to us. This involves a transfer of personal data to the USA, safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the provider’s EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification.
- Vercel (Vercel, Inc., USA) — our hosting provider, which serves the website and processes technical data such as IP address in server logs to deliver the pages. Safeguarded as above.
You can request a copy of the safeguards for these transfers by contacting us.
Our event pages show a map of the race venue. The map is loaded from OpenFreeMap (openfreemap.org), and your browser sends its IP address there to load the map tiles. The purpose is to show where the race is held; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing the location (Article 6(1)(f)). OpenFreeMap sets no cookies and does not track you.
How long we keep the data
Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase are deleted no later than twelve months after our last contact. If the enquiry leads to a purchase, we keep the records for as long as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires (seven years).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, to rectify inaccurate data, to have data erased, to request restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability). To exercise any of these rights, email us at fredrik@hedlund.se.
If you believe we process your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
